Saving the grid layout
You can modify how columns are displayed and sorted on the Items Grid View page and save your preferences for reuse. Saved states are referred to as Views. You can switch from one saved view to another as needed.
Saving your preferred grid layout
- To save a view, click the Gear icon to present the Views drop-down menu and select Save Grid Layout To New View.
- Enter a name for the current view configuration.
- Click Save Current View.
- To make it a Public View, optionally select Share with Other Users. For more info on public views, Public Views.
The following view properties of the view are saved:
- Columns
- Column arrangement
- Sort order
- Visibility, which can be either private or public
Loading a saved view
- To load a saved view, select Load a Saved View from the Views drop-down menu. This displays the My Inventory Views window.
- In the My Inventory Views window, hover the cursor over the desired view and click Load.
Result: The Item Grid View page is updated with the selected view configuration.
Alternatively, you can also load a saved view by using the View Name field in the upper left corner of the Item Grid View page. Click the field under View Name, manually enter the name of the desired view and select it from the drop-down list.
Updating a saved view
You can also update a saved view as required by loading the saved view and modify the layout, clicking Views and selecting the Save Grid Layout To View. The saved view is updated with the new layout configuration.
Managing saved views
- You can view all of your private and public views from the My Inventory Views window by selecting View Saved Views from the Views drop-down menu.
- To work with a specific view, hover the cursor over the view, and the options Update are Delete are displayed.
