Start the SOAP client either by using Internet Explorer
or using the SOAP client command-line utility (not available on z/OS® systems).
About this task
When you use the SOAP client in conjunction with Internet
Explorer to issue SOAP requests, you can modify, if needed, the tags
or the text. In contrast, the command-line utility simply displays
the output of the request at the command line.
Note: Before you can
access newly created Universal Agent objects, the hub monitoring server
where the SOAP server is running must be recycled. See the IBM Tivoli Monitoring Installation
and Setup Guide for instructions
on configuring the hub monitoring server.
