Managing data by using the Linear Visual Control grid on the map

You can use the Linear Visual Control map tool to manage Linear features while you view the map.

Procedure

  1. Open a Maximo record that includes Linear data that is linked to a GIS feature.
  2. Select the Map tab to open the map for the record.
  3. Select the Linear Visual Control tool from the map toolbar.
    The Linear Visual Control grid appears at the bottom of the map. The grid displays information for the current Maximo record. You can move and size the grid as required.
  4. Select a linear feature in the Linear Visual Control grid to highlight it in the map.
  5. Open the Identify tool and select the highlighted linear feature to view its details.
  6. Select the Features list from the feature details window.
  7. Select an object from the features list to highlight it on both the map and the Linear Visual Control grid.
