Managing PowerVM Active Memory Sharing

The components that are part of PowerVM® Active Memory Sharing technology are managed by using the Hardware Management Console (HMC).

Assigning paging devices
You can assign paging devices by using the Hardware Management Console (HMC).

You can obtain proper configuration to tune Active Memory Sharing. Proper configuration can be obtained by monitoring and then optimizing the shared memory pool and the shared memory partitions.
