SAS subsystem with Dual RAID Controllers with Write Cache configuration for the 8408-44E or 8408-E8E
The Dual RAID Controllers with Write Cache configuration consists of the following parts:
- Two PCIe3 x8 Cache SAS RAID internal adapters 6 Gb, with RAID 0, 5, 5T2, 6, 6T2, 10, and 10T2
- One disk drive backplane that supports 8x SFF (2.5") bays and 4x 1.8" SSD bays
- One Slimline DVD bay
Note: Both controllers see all disk bays and must be configured in the same system partition. This
configuration includes dual paths to all drives through dual expanders.
