After you have performed a dump, or one occurs automatically, use
this information to manage the dump, including copying, reporting, and deleting
it.
Dumps are deleted automatically when a new dump occurs, except for
log dumps.
Copying a dump
Use this procedure to copy a current platform dump or current
main storage dump when the Main Storage Dump auto copy option is disabled.
Once you copy the current dump, another dump of the same type can
be created.
Reporting a dump
You can report a dump using AIX® commands, IBM® i service tools, or Linux commands.
Deleting a dump
Use this procedure to delete a dump when dump copies are no longer
needed by your next level of support or your hardware service provider.
