Viewing system software allocations for SAS controllers

The AIX® system has resources allocated to attached devices. Use this procedure to view the system software allocations and controller resource usage.

To view the system software allocations and controller resource usage, complete the following steps:
  1. Navigate to the IBM® SAS Disk Array Manager by completing the steps in Using the Disk Array Manager.
  2. Click Diagnostics and Recovery Options > Change/Show SAS RAID Controller.
  3. Select the IBM SAS RAID controller for which you want to view the resource usage.

You can obtain the same information from the command line by running the lsattr command on the SAS controller.
