You might need to place a system into the operating position to
make the system available for use. Use the procedure in this section to perform
this task.
Tip: Some of the figures in these procedures might not
look exactly like the system unit that you have. However, the steps to perform
the task are the same.
To place the system unit into the operating
position, follow these steps:
Lift the system unit, and position over the rails.
CAUTION:
This unit weighs approximately 17 kg (37 pounds). Be sure you
can safely support this weight when placing the system unit from the rack.
Simultaneously release the safety latches, located near the middle
of each side of the system, and push the system unit into the rack. Both rack
latches should lock into position.
Note: Ensure that the cables
at the rear of the system unit do not catch or bind as you push the unit back
into the rack.
Replace and tighten the two screws A that
secure the system unit to the rack as shown in the following figure.
