Using AIX or Linux commands to work with the temporary and permanent
side of the service processor
Learn how to use AIX or Linux commands to determine which side
of the service processor you are booting from.
Note: In most cases, you will be running on the Temporary
side.
Issue the following command at the AIX® or Linux® command
prompt:
lsmcode
Note: If the lsmcode command
does not work on the Linux command line, you need to obtain the Linux tools.
See Obtaining service and productivity tools for Linux.
