Updating the system firmware by using xCAT
Learn how to update the system firmware by using the Extreme Cloud Administration Toolkit (xCAT).
From a terminal session on an xCAT management node, type the following command and press Enter:
rflash xcatnodename -d /path/to/directory, where xcatnodename is the name of the node in xCAT.
Notes:
- The directory must contain the BMC image file, the PNOR image file, and the pUpdate utility.
