Configuring settings

From the IBM FSM Capacity Utilization dashboard, click Settings to configure the utility. You can activate or deactivate the monitoring service and change the polling interval.

If you change the monitoring service to Inactive and click OK, the management software stops monitoring capacity and resource utilization and clears cached data both in your management node and browser.

The polling interval setting determines how often management node capacity and utilization are measured. The minimum polling interval is five minutes and the maximum is eight hours.

Viewing reports

From the IBM FSM Capacity Utilization dashboard, click View Report to open a report in a new browser tab. The IBM FSM Capacity Utilization Report provides current and historical data for each utilization gauge. The historical data table displays utilization data for every instance that the management node was polled in the past 24 hours.
