Operating a 5250 console

After you have successfully connected to a 5250 console, you can use the available options to operate a 5250 console.

1. Go to IBM® i Knowledge Center website (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i).
2. Select Version 7.2 or Version 7.3 from the list, depending on the version of the IBM i operating system that you have on your system.
3. Expand Basic system operations > Overview of basic system operations > Using system interfaces.
