Perform the following steps to determine the location of the system processor module:

1. Is a location code available in the serviceable event view for this failing item?
   • Yes: Use the location to find and replace the failing system processor. This ends the procedure.
   • No: Continue with the next step.
2. To determine the location of the failing item, perform the following steps:
   1. Record the dynamic reconfiguration connector (DRC) index, which is word 7 of the reference code.
   2. If the DRC is of the form 2000yyyy or 210xyyyy, continue with the next step. If the DRC is of the form 2300yyyy, 2400yyyy, or 2B00yyyy go step 4.
3. The DRC index from the previous step is of the form xxxxyyyy, where yyyy is the hexadecimal bus number. Using the hexadecimal bus number, go to Card positions to find the location code that is associated with the bus number.

4. Use the DRC index from step 2 and the following table to find the location code of the failing system processor module to replace.
