DB2 V9.7 SSL configuration

Learn how to configure DB2 V9.7 for SSL on the Windows platform. After configuring DB2 for SSL, you can use DB2 client applications that also support SSL to connect to the DB2 database through the SSL protocol. One such client application example is WebSphere Application Server.

Susan Butala works with the Worldwide WebSphere Business Partners - Technical Enablement organization in Pittsburgh, PA. She provides remote technical enablement support to IBM Business Partners on the following suite of products: WAS, WPS, WID, BPM, MQ/MB, and Workload Deployer. She is an IBM Certified System Administrator for WebSphere Application Server. Prior to her current position, Susan has logged 23 years of technical support experience on a variety of mainframe-based and distributed platform-based products. Most recently, she provided technical support for the DCE middleware and the DFS file system products. She has a BS degree in Computer Science and Chemistry.

Priamo Persichetti (priamop@us.ibm.com), Software Engineer, IBM

Priamo Persichetti works in the WebSphere Competency Center, Pittsburgh Lab, Pittsburgh, PA. He is a Certified System Administrator/Expert for WebSphere Application Server V5.0 and 4.0. Prior to his current position, he worked on IBM's electronic software distribution tool (ISSI) as part of the packaging team and IBM's Edge Server product. He has a Master's degree in Information Science.
