There's a new web site, the PatternShare Community. It's the brainchild of Ward Cunningham and is being hosted by Microsoft. It's an effort to collect patterns from several different sources, summarize them, and show how they fit together into a unified pattern space. The idea is to help answer the question, "How do the patterns in this one book fit with the patterns in this other book?" (See "What is a PatternShare?")
To start with, a group of authors and their publishers decided to work together to use their books to seed the web site. So the books that are represented now are Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, Enterprise Integration Patterns, and several other prominent patterns books.
The site has been a long time in the making, but is still just getting started. We authors are endeavoring to link our material together better. We also hope other authors will want to join, and we will add their work in over time. Meantime, have a look; hopefully you will find it helpful.
