What are WebSphere Adapters?
WebSphere Adapters are integration components built based on Java Connector Architecture 1.5 (JCA) standard that provide connectivity to Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) through a easy-to-configure user guided interface. It provides bidirectional connectivity to EIS and helps to standardize the manner in which the application components on J2EE servers interact with the EIS.
