If you are a smartphone user, you are impatient and want access to all information wherever you are. Enterprises can capitalize on this and drive up productivity by creating apps that address this hunger in the workforce. So says Michael Rheinheimer, Advisory Software Engineer, IBM Mobile Foundation in this preview to his upcoming talk with Jason Hunt, IBM Executive Software Client Architect at the AT&T Developer Summit.
Meanwhile, Jason points out that mobile apps have substantial differences from consumer apps, particularly when it comes to managing security and integrating with backend legacy systems.
Another key point in the interview is the need to create a development environment with sufficient workflow to rapidly produce custom apps for the myriad of devices that employees may use.
