I'm absolutely green with envy.
The first full Led Zeppelin show since 1980 occurred last night in the UK, and alas, I wasn't there.
I saw some clips played back on the news earlier today, as well as via blogs with links to coverage on the YouTube that have already started to appear.
I haven't had time to seek out a full set list yet, but the SeattlePI blog has a link to clips that include "Kashmir," which sounds absolutely fantastic.
Yes, there was a duty bound rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" as well.
Oh thank heavens for the series of Tubes.
As for Led Zeppelin, it's about time for a full on tour, don't you think?
FYI, the 20,000 tickets for last night's show were distributed via a lottery to which over 20M people applied.
A pair of VIP passes were allegedly selling for as much as 10,000 British pounds.
That is a whole lotta Led Zeppelin love.
