In November, we refreshed many of the electronic support offerings, including IBM Support Portal, Fix Central, and My notifications, to better meet our clients' needs.
Support Portal:Support Portal deployed the following changes:
Here are highlights of two of these new changes:
Recent community activity is a new module that replaces the current modules on the Communities page. The new module displays the most recent information for your products from social media including Twitter, blogs and wikis, and forums and user groups.
Fix Central:As part of the Fix Central release, we introduced additional device support and introduced support for new products. Specific enhancements include the following:
Fix acquisition support for the System x PureFlex FSM deploy on November 30
Mobile device support for Fix Central which allows you to identify and research available fixes through your mobile devices

My Notifications:The My Notifications release was focused not only on new function and enhancements according to business requirements and clients needs, but also for preparation for next year's big release. The following key changes are included.
Notifications for Cluster on Power and Virtualization on Power will now include fixes from Electronic Fix Distribution (eFD)
AIX and IBM i operating systems are now consolidated under "IBM Operating Systems"
Enhanced support for My Notifications Quick subscribe and Point 'n shoot subscription functions
