Managing your product list in IBM Support Portal

The IBM Support Portal, your gateway to all of your technical support needs for IBM products, displays content based on the products you select as active in the portal view. You can view content for one product or up to ten products at one time. Selecting at least one product optimizes your Support Portal experience.
Quick Start Page
The first time you access the IBM Support Portal, you will see the Quick Start page.
It presents an easy, three-step process for getting started. From the Quick Start page you can
select one or more products by browsing through a list of products or searching for a product. You can also provide additional details about your environment, including the operating system and specific product version, to focus the information displayed to just those versions of a product on those operating systems.
Support Portal selects the technical information and resources relevant to the products you select, presenting them in a consistent way in the modules on the portal pages.
Managing your product list
To make it easy to find information for many IBM products, you can build a saved product list and include up to 100 IBM products. Up to 10 products can be active at a time. The “Choose a product” module on each Support Portal page displays your saved product list.
Use the Choose a product module to add products using the Quick find field, add additional information about your IBM products, remove products, share your product list with others, and change the view on the portal page by activating products in the list. Use the "Allow multiple selections" option to view more than one product at a time. If you deselect this option, you will see only one product displayed on the portal pages. For more complex management of your product list, select the Find a product link.
The Support Portal provides many tools for managing your product list and customizing the portal view to help you find the content you need to support your environment.
