Late last year I had the opportunity to catch up with Tony Pearson, a blogger on the developerWorks network whose Inside System Storage blog consistently receives more traffic than any other blog. This was a fascinating discussion, especially given Tony’s heritage: he was one of the early external bloggers on the IBM.com domain.

- The best way to promote your blog is to let other people do it: promote other bloggers!
- Don’t be afraid of negative feedback and comments
- Find your voice, pick a niche and play to that strength
