There are multiple ways of getting the tablespace I/O Stats from a db2 udb luw database. Getting the delta information is the tricky part, one of the ways of getting this info
Tested in a DB2 UDB LUW V9.5 Database.
1. Create a table like this
create table db.snaptbsp like sysibmadm.snaptbsp. (Note: This table will be created in your default tablespace, if needed you can take the DDL of db.snaptbsp via db2look and create this table in the desired tablespace)
2. Run a simple INSERT Statement into this new table-- db2 "insert into db.snaptbsp select * from sysi
3. Once you have populated the table db.snaptbsp and run this SQL to get the number of writ
writes-lag(writes) over (order by snap
reads-lag(reads) over (order by snap
A special Thanks to Serge Rielau of IBM Toronto Lab, giving me a hint about these OLAP Expressions.
