While having breakfast before the opening session this morning (if you missed it be sure to catch the replay of William Shatner's talk), I had the opportunity to speak with a couple of IBM customers who use developerWorks quite often, here are some quotes:
"I can always find what I am looking for on developerWorks."
"IBM should invest more money in developerWorks. It would be an investment in all of the ClearQuest and ClearCase admins that use the site."
"developerWorks is IBM's best kept secret."
"Instructors should spend 10 minutes at the start of their classes, letting their students know of all the great resources on the site."
"When a new ClearCase admin joins one of our projects, the first thing I do is point them to developerWorks to quickly get them up to speed."
"ClearQuest admins are often isolated, developerWorks is the best place for them to go and ask questions and find answers."
There were also suggestions to improve search and to allow user defined categories within the forums.
It is this type of face-to-face interaction with customers and positive feedback that helps keep me going. Thank you to all of our customers for taking the time to provide us with feedback.
