Really good stuff Guo/Qi/Matthias, I was struck with an Xpath expression for two days ...

SELECT x.error as errfrom vis vrf, XMLTABLE('$v/Vis' passing vrf.value as "v"COLUMNS error VARCHAR(500) PATH 'for $i in (*:error) return $i' ) as x where length(x.error) > 0
and I was trying to use the "error" field in my sql for processing but, it was failing and then I referred to your blog and chaged the return statement to return xs:string($i) and it worked like a charm..Thanks a lot, you guys :)
