to recreate the JCRCollection1 -
2.) I used a new location for the collection
Update the collection location in icm.properties , for example if the
new collection location
4.) Restart the portal server .

2.) Select WCM Content for the
content source type , you will see the WCM Content Form , Please fill in
the appropriate details . the important fields are Seedlist URL , for
example . To configure search for Content in AssetLib site area the
seedlist URL will look like
3.)uncheck Force Complete crawl
4.) Navigate to security tab and create the loging details if it is secure content
5.) Schedule the crawler to update the seach on a timly basis so that your search results stays current . I generally schedule to crawl everyday . The crawling and indexing might be CPU intensive jobs and so i usually schedule it to happen during the off hours.
6.) I had to configure the seedlist url for different WCM libraries separately , but you will also be able to specify multiple library names using the seperater ","
7.) Save and start the crawl job. Portal search is configured .
