We are neck deep into "that time of year"; holiday preparations and festivities are in full swing, vacations are in effect, and those of us working this week have been wrapping up our projects before we wrap up our gifts.
With the year coming to a close, I thought it'd be nice to highlight some of our top visited posts from 2010. Take a moment and review some of the posts which made Notes from Rational Support valuable to you this past year...
Your humble blog authors will be on hiatus for the next week, so you'll likely not see many posts from us until after the new year; but we do have some exciting new programs starting up soon... Of course, you'll have to wait until well after Christmas and New Years before opening those presents!
Until then, from all of us in Rational Client Support, have a safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year!

As is the custom this time of year, those of us in the United States, and the expats living abroad are likely deep in the midsts of celebrating a day of thanks by feasting upon a traditional Turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Of course that means the Rational Support North American crew is largely, if not entirely out of the office today and tomorrow (Nov 24th and 25th). Likewise, the blog will be quiet tomorrow as well to give us some rest from today's feasting
To our entire global audience of clients and IBMers alike, we wish you the best today and are extremely thankful you have chosen to follow us here on Notes from Rational Support, and more so that you've found our efforts to be beneficial to your end goals. Cheers to you all!

From all of us to all of you!
It'll be a quiet week next week here on the blog while your authors enjoy some time with family and loved ones, but we'll pop in from time to time to say hi!.

For those of us around the U.S celebrating Independence day today: we hope your beer is cold and your barbeques are hot; find some shade and enjoy the relaxing day. Then grab a lawn chair and enjoy the fireworks displays tonight!
Here at Notes from Rational Support, your intrepid blog authors are off on holiday until Monday the 9th, but we've queued up some posts we think you'll find quite useful between now and then.... as always we welcome your comments and feedback here on the blog, through twitter, or on our Facebook posts.

Ah, yes, it IS that time of year when many Americans roll out that one last big blow-out barbecue party before the summer comes to a close and we look toward welcoming winter, albeit a bit trepidatiously. While the holiday has indeed come to symbolize the end of summer for many of us (it isn't, summer doesn't end until September 22), it started and remains as an American federal holiday to honor the worker; a day when we recognize the contributions of the American worker by relaxing and eating lots of BBQ
All this, of course, means your loyal blog admins are off galavanting (or just sitting on the sofa) and not actively working today. But that doesn't mean we don't have some good content for you! In this case, it is a new video from IBM Electronic Support guiding us all on how to download software from the Fix Central repositories. Take note, this video will come in quite handy after tomorrows blog post, so take a look and then stay tuned!
