How do you know when you're really ready to release? Answering this question requires ALM visibility spanning project management, requirements, coding, build and testing artifacts. In this demo, we show how the Rational solution provides the end-to-end visibility agile teams need to succeed with ALM. The demo starts with a development plan that shows the relationship among plan items, requirements and test cases. We see how adding a new plan item to the release backlog drives a choreographed set of team activities for project managers, analysts, developers and quality professionals.
Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Manager, and Rational Requirements Composer were demoed using the 3.0 Beta 2 versions.
Visit jazz.net to learn more about our next releases.

Our open mic session on Jazz Agile Planning on May 3 was SO well-attended, with such good discussion, that we need another session to finish up!
Please join us tomorrow, May 11, at 10am ET, as Johannes Rieken, Jazz developer, continues the conversation around Agile development practices.
To check out all upcoming open mics, please visit our Rational Support Technical Exchange Open Mics & Webcasts document.
Hope to see you there!

Paul Gorans has written a great article outlining the Three deadly pitfalls to avoid on agile implementations and how to avoid them. And Paul would know... he is the global leader of the Accelerated Solution Delivery practice for IBM Global Business Services. He and his team support "agile with discipline" services, work with other IBM groups to integrate agile practices into services and product implementation engagements, and provide agile training to IBM Global Business Services professionals. So head on over to the Rational Technical Library and check out his skilled and experienced advice on how you too can avoid these pitfalls:
