The Telelogic-Rational Support Integration Team has released an update to the Telelogic Support Toolbar!
This Support Toolbar has been designed by Rational and Telelogic
specifically to assist heritage Telelogic support userse through the
transition to IBM Rational Software Support. As a support client, we
know you desire to be self-sufficient in finding what you need when you
need it. In this single, customizable tool is everything a support
user needs to locate essential product support sites, search content,
find downloads - and more!
This Support Toolbar update coincides with the June 2nd releases of newly renamed Telelogic products to reflect the IBM Rational naming conventions. This will automatically update the toolbar buttons and menu items to ibm.com resources for Telelogic product support through the Rational brand. The toolbar is set to check for updates every two weeks by default. If your current install has not prompted you to run the update, a manual check will detect it and guide you through the install process.
The update has been created to guide you through the Support transition elements, pointing you to the locations for Telelogic Product Support on ibm.com. We have set the "Communications" button for direct access to the Telelogic Support Overview Page on ibm.com where the latestSupport Transition Communication can be found along with transition FAQs.
We've also updated the product names as displayed in the toolbar to match the IBM Rational branding and point to the key support resources on ibm.com pages. This includes pointers to the product support pages, as well as Service Requests (Sr), large file transfers (EcuRep) and Passport Advantage (PA) links for full product downloads.
