Google's Feed Reader provides another excellent Web Pipe. For instance: http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/feed/http://bitworking.org/index.rss. Instant Atom feed. Excellent stuff.
Note: I've started updating all of my feed reader subscriptions so that if the publisher does not publish an Atom 1.0 feed directly, I'll route their RSS feed through the abve Google Reader pipe so that all I see in my desktop feed reader are Atom feeds. Eventually my goal is to have zero RSS feeds in my reader. So far, I've updated a little over half of the 200+ feeds I subscribe to.

Welcome to the world of "Web Pipes"...
What is a "Web Pipe"? A "Web Pipe" is a term I coined to describe a Web resource that takes the input from another resource and consumes it to produce something else... much like a Unix Pipe. Web Pipes only use GET, and must be formed by concatenating multiple URLs.. for instance http://feeds.technorati.com/events/http://microformats.org/.
