While trying to run this program, I am getting the following error.

Can you please tell me the reason for this.
 
Actually i was also writing my own httpclient example and it was giving the same error as above. So, i tried ur example and it was also the same. I have included all three jars required . i.e. httpclient, logging and codec.

Hi Pulin,Hmm, so you're getting a connection timeout - makes me wonder if there is some kind of firewall or proxy configured on your machine. Do you get the same problem if you switch off any firewall? Does it work when you run a regular browser from this machine? What about command line tools like wget? Have you tried this on a different machine?I'll assume you're using the latest httpclient software, which JDK version are you using? Tried any different versions?RegardsGuy
