Performance report of the ConnectX EN 10GbE adapterBy Rafael Folco From the Linux Technology Center, a team focused on Power I/O Performance just released a performance report with recommendations and basic performance characteristics of the ConnectX EN 10GbE adapter for Power Systems servers running Linux. This adapter is a popular and common dual-port 10Gb Ethernet adapter for IBM's Power systems. The report covers the basic features of the adapter and driver, provides some example performance results with suggestions on how to validate the results yourself with a workload called "uperf". Tuning considerations and related features are covered. This report is the first in a series of performance articles focused on describing adapters and drivers available for Power systems.
