The Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console has the ability to automatically open one or more pages when a user logs in. For frequently used pages, this feature can save several mouse clicks and quite a bit of time.
Let's say for example that we want to automatically open the Dashboard page every time we log into the Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console. The procedure is simple.
First, use the navigation area on the left to manually open the Dashboard page. Then, click on the "--- Select Action ---" menu in the upper right corner and select "Add to My Startup Pages" as shown in the picture below.
And that's it! Now the Dashboard page will automatically open whenever we login.
In a similar way we can add more pages to this list, and have all of them open automatically upon login, though with too many pages the startup time will increase noticeably.
The list of startup pages can be modified from the "My Startup Pages" page, which opens from the corresponding menu entry in the Navigation Area on the left:
Pages can be removed from the list, so that they will no longer start automatically, and it's also possible to assign a "Default" page that will be activated upon login (the other pages will start but will stay "in the background"):
