Free and Open Source Software (FOSS.IN) is being held between Nov 24 and 26 in Bangalore at National Science Symposium Centre of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). It started out as a small pavilion in BangaloreIT.com in 1999 and last year around 3000 visited, along with the who's who of Linux and the open source world. This time the Talks distribution is such that 60% is Technical, 10% is Evangelism, 10% is FOSS in Education and the rest is Others(business/promos??). There are 3 speakers from the Systems and Technology Lab, IBM India talking on Linux/Best Practices in Linux Testing/Zenoss.
I plan to attend over the weekend, after I complete some off-campus interviews and once I get a pass (a colleague of mine said he'll try to arrange for one).
