Adobe Air 2.6 on Fedora Core 15, 64 bit

I had some trouble getting this to work, so I'm documenting it -- for my own benefit, if not for anyone else. :-) Here's what I did:
The above instructions are pretty easy to find on the net. However, it took me some digging to figure out how to install air-based applications, as the installation will fail with an out-of-the-box FC15 configuration.
It turns out that the adobeair installer fails when using FC15's rpm libraries, so you'll need the FC14 libraries instead. You can get the libraries here. Unzip the file, and then run this command from the parent dire
You can now navigate to the location of the air application, and install it normally. The application can then run without these libraries; they are only needed for the installer itself.
