Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus supports the use of regular expressions for searching ObjectServer data. The following topics have been updated to clarify how backslash characters (\) are parsed by the NETCOOL and TRE regular expression libraries:

The Configuring event management of a virtual environment topic, which describes how to monitor IBM Tivoli Monitoring events that are generated for virtual environments, was updated in response to APAR IV21722.
Date and time functions in probe rules files
The Date and time functions topic has been updated in response to APAR IV09508. The topic now contains previously missing reference information and examples of Locale Data Markup Language (LDML) date and time formats and their associated input and output data.
