Onsite testing guidelines
Up to two tests may be registered for at one time. Upon completing one test, another one may be registered for. Book an early test session, take the test, and then register for another to secure multiple testing opportunities during the conference.
An individual may only take the same test twice in a 30 day period. Both attempts may be at this event.
For each test session, test takers are required to sign-in to take the test, and show their conference badge and one ID with photo and signature.
Previous IBM test takers need to bring their certification testing ID number.
Tests are closed-book and contain multiple-choice questions. They are delivered in a proctored environment via the password protected, web-based tool, Prime. Previous users of Prime are to bring their username and password.
Preparing for an exam during the conference
It is strongly recommended that you prepare in advanced for your exam(s). Though there is no substitute for actual hands-on product experience, there are a number of resources available to aid in studying for your certification test. These include assessment tests, courses, product documentation and web resources.
New in 2011, Conference attendees may access the Certification Virtual Prep Lab 24 hrs/day for the duration of the conference. (Link to be provided) This prep contains links to exam competency guides and prep resources. In addition to quick access to product documentation, web resources and red books; selected Lotus authorized course materials will be available in e-book format free of charge.
As an added bonus, for the duration of the conference, all Lotus and WebSphere Portal Assessment tests will be available free of charge via the Certification Virtual Prep Lab. CODE to be provided on-site.
