Zen, thanks for your comments ! Yes, interesting that the SAP result was not in the press release. Maybe because it was not a strong result. The Fujitsu and Sun 2-tier SAP SD result of 825 SD Users (1.97 seconds average response time, cert# 2008062) was on the SPARC Enterprise Server M3000 (1 2.52 GHz SPARC64 VII processor chip, 4 cores, 8 threads, 16 GB memory) running Oracle 10g on Solaris 10 and SAP ECC Release 6.0. This result was 2.4 times lower in performance than the top 4-core result of 2,035 SD Users (1.95 seconds average response time, cert #2007037) on the IBM Power 570 (2 4.7 GHz chips, 4 cores) and 59% lower performance than the IBM System x3650 (2 Xeon 5160 dual-core) result of 1,313 SD Users (1.97 seconds average response time, cert#2006043). Results current as of 10/29/08.
