Support and the New Year

As the new leader of the world-wide Smarter Infrastructure Support teams, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year! 2013 promises to be an exciting year in IBM and particularly in product support. We're getting close to Pulse 2013 and I'm excited to meet with many old and new customers and colleagues. One of the cornerstones of the conference, the Smarter Infrastructure Solution Center is the place to meet our Support and Development experts, engage in conversation with a fellow user, and generally be able to see the Tivoli products in action. With over 40 workstations configured to run the latest Maximo, Smart Cloud Control Desk, and TRIRIGA software, the Solution Center is designed to allow you access the latest and greatest releases, features, and capabilities. I encourage all Pulse attendees to make time to visit the Solution Center. At last year's conference, over 2,700 attendees spent a combined 6,000 hours in the Solution Center! I think you will find true value and benefit to this perennial showcase. Looking to enhance the value of your support subscription services? At last year's conference, over 700 customers visited the Tivoli Accelerated Value Program Red Carpet Lounge to talk with our AVP leadership team. Many of the Tivoli Support management team are available at Pulse. We're there to engage in a meaningful dialogue. We want to hear about your experiences deploying the IBM products or about product features and functionality. I'd like to switch gears for a moment and talk about support. 2013 is the year of transformation for our Support organization. Whether you are a Maximo, CCMDB, TSRM, SCCD, or TRIRIGA shop, 2013 looks to deliver solid maintenance and product updates that will certainly enhance our products' value in your enterprise. As we move through the year, my team and I will communicate any and all essential information about product updates and other noteworthy technical items.
