You can count on unpredictability when it comes to weather in New England.
This winter has been virtually snowless, though many who had to rake deep snow off their roofs last year while waiting for power to be restored are enjoying the balmy temps.
One thing that is consistent, however, is that Pulse is always an amazing showcase of products and services, and 2012 will be better than ever. Pulse runs March 4-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Final prep is underway to get our demos and presentations fine tuned so we can show as many people as possible the Asset Management solutions we have across the full breadth and depth of the product lines.
Have you ever wanted to drag and drop work orders on a graphical chart to build your weekly schedules?
How about use an Everyplace template to bring Maximo to the small screen (smartphone, that is).
Or email a PR to a traveling boss, who routes it for workflow with a simple numeric reply.
Certified demo staff in black Pulse demo vests will be ready and waiting in the Solution Expo to show the Asset Management applications at the various stations ('peds'). Come by, share a use case, look at apps, brainstorm a better way to get a result. Speaking as a Design Architect, I really look forward to this time of year because customer interaction is what good product design is all about. There is no substitution for a solid real-world use case, to feed the next generation of functional enhancements. I look forward to seeing many of our fellow community members there.
The question is, when we return from Pulse, will the flagsticks be in the greens or will the kids be sledding down the fairway hill? In New England, you never know.
