&gt;&gt; I've been using the Toronto Transit lately and the last time I needed to buy tokens, I noticed two things. <br /> &gt;&gt; First of all, you can only buy tokens for cash. Credit cards are not accepted. <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> First, it's just a hunch, but I suspect the rationale behind this is something to do with those tokens being equivalent to cash. There are a lot of cash-equivalent things you can't buy with credit cards (even at locations that might take credit cards for other things). I don't know if this is a legal issue or just a rule of the dominant credit card companies. (Of course, I could be wrong, and maybe Toronto Transit just doesn't want to pay the 2-4% "vig" to the credit card companies.) <div>&nbsp;</div> Second, what's you second thing about Toronto Transit tokens? :-) <br />
