Tony Pearson Tony Pearson is a Master Inventor and Senior IT Specialist for the IBM System Storage product line at the IBM Executive Briefing Center in Tucson Arizona, and featured contributor to IBM's developerWorks. In 2011, Tony celebrated his 25th year anniversary with IBM Storage on the same day as the IBM's Centennial. He is author of the Inside System Storage series of books. Hi Tony, Interesting to hear your perspective and experiences however I find it <br /> Unbelievable - I am staggered that at a time like this, you chose to write: <br /> &gt;&gt; For each IBM storage product sold in 2011, IBM will send a portion of the profits to IBM shareholders living in Japan, New Zealand, and elsewhere along the Pacific Rim <br /> How on earth is this not 'par for the course'. IBM pays a dividend to shareholders regardless of their geographic location and to make a statement like this is misleading and underhand. If this is not the case and there are special provisions being made to assist people affected over and above normal shareholder dividend payments, please provide details and remove my comment.... <div>&nbsp;</div> I find it disgusting that you chose to promote IBM products on the back of such tragedy. Please show some respect for those affected and leave the product promotion out of it. <div>&nbsp;</div>
