100 Years ... wow. I was fortunate enough to have a grandmother who lived ~almost~ to 100. There was no sadness at her passing - she had lived a very full life and had remained active until close to the end. There was mostly awe and celebration - she had lasted 100 years. We don't celebrate when a rock or even a tree turns 100, because it is not very unique or surprising. But for a person - or for a company like IBM - it's quite an achievement.
