Service Request integration with the IBM Support Portal

If you've taken a look at Release 2 of the IBM Support Portal and gone to the Open a Service Request page, you may have noticed a new portlet, the IBM Service Request portlet.
This portlet appears whenever your product list includes a product that uses the IBM Service Request tool for online problem management. It displays your draft and recent open PMRs and provides links to the Service Request tool, where you can work with your PMRs and use all the Service Request features.
To use the Service Request portlet:, you need to:
- Log into the IBM Support Portal. (Use the sign in link on the right of the masthead or in the Service Request portlet.)
- Be registered to use the Service Request tool. (If you're not registered, the portlet indicates this and provides a link for registration.)
After working with your PMRs in Service Request , you can return to the Support Portal via the Return to IBM Support Portal link in the Related links list on the left side of the Service Request page.
