As August comes to a close, we prepare to highlight IBM Support Assistant (ISA) and ISA Lite Electronic Support Tools in September. Before moving on, I wanted to extend you the opportunity to provide feedback on the Support Portal. We are always looking to improve our Electronic Support Tools and we need and want to know what our end users think. It's so easy to do, and I'm happy to tell you how. It doesn't take much time at all.
On any page within the IBM Support Portal, you will see a Support feedback
portlet located on the lower right portion of that page. There are currently 3 ways that you can provide input. Expanding
the 'Surveys and studies' section gives you the option to sign up for a future design study or to immediately take a Consumability Survey, with the choice of doing it in 10 languages.
Clicking the first link, 'Help us improve online support' will pop up a form that you can fill out. Please consider the following as you fill out the form.
- Required information is highlighted with a red asterisk *.
- Use the e-mail address you used when you registered for your IBM on-line ID. This will ensure that any responses will get to you, should you sign-up for them.
- Although the optional information is optional, it's really useful. Fill out everything you can, including selecting from the dropdown list for country of origin.
- Be as specific as you can. For example, stating WebSphere Application Server version 7.0 on AIX as the product versus WebSphere. There are many products branded WebSphere and knowing the exact product version and platform will give us a good idea to which teams we need to forward your comments.
Thank you for using the IBM Support Portal. We are always looking to improve our clients' online support experience and value your input.
