Hi Herman,

About "xslt-cred Identification Cred", Is that required? Can we just create a Val-cred?

Thanks,
Rohit

Hi Hermann,
i have two questions:
1. why are we using forward proxy profile with idcred? shouldn't it b reverse proxy profile?
2. when I am testing the above xslt from my transform action within the service (say xmlfw), how will the request soap message look like? will it have a tag containing user id and pwd and same user id-pwd should be having access to datapower?

Thanks,
Mohit

Hi Hermann,
Any update on my doubts? I am firing a plain xml using 'send a test message' to the datapower service that contains stylesheet with exact same config as you posted above (the only change is instead of local host:5550, I have given <eth2>:5550 since this where our xml mgmnt interface is defined while I am firing the request through GUI which is defined on eth1) but I am not getting any response.

I need this to understand since I am developing a service using soma to clear stylesheet/document cache.

Thanks,
Mohit</eth2>

perhaps.

no, DataPower stylesheet acts as a SSL client against XML management interface, therefore a forward proxy profile is needed.

see example stylesheet in blog posting, $basicAuth contains $pwd64 which contains usename and password.

Sending against interface!=127.0.0.1 works fine for me:
