I found it interesting that Microsoft is making its SQLServer source code available to students at the University of Wisconsin at Madison but what about all the other college students around the globe?? What can they do?? Jump into Postgres as it is and has always been available in the form of open source for any student in any university in any country. Why is Microsoft only making their code available to one school? That's a big question. I guess it has to do with them hiring one of the schools professors, David DeWitt.
Microsoft opens up SQLServer source code for college students?
