OMEGAMON XE for CICS TG on z/OS, v4.2.0: Performance Improvements

I recently spoke with a support representative for OMEGAMON XE for CICS TG on z/OS, v4.2.0 and discussed customer inquiries on any performance issues that were made over the last quarter. He informed me that APAR OA34597 and OA31693 were authored to address and improve some key aspects of performance in the product's last release.
One customer reported a performance degradation problem in the agent address space and inquired whether the development team could reduce the amount of CPU usage when monitoring multiple CICS Transaction Gateway address spaces. To save CPU cycles in agent address space when monitoring multiple CICS TG daemons, the development team removed excessive sampling for statistical data, while the data scanning method was improved. The customer was told to see OA34597 and use PTF UA53949 to address this issue.
There were multiple customers, who reported that the CICS Transaction Gateway monitoring tool was not able to monitor those regions which were started on a secondary TCP/IP stack. The OMEGAMON XE for CICS TG development team amended the product to monitor those CICS TG daemons, which were started on an TCP/IP stack other than the primary stack on a local z/OS image. The customers were told to see OA31693 and the correcting PTF UA58258.
