Well next I consider another company the Dachis Group considers social business and how in that respect GBS uses it. The Dachis Group considers social business to be at the intersection of Technology, Work, and Society. Which really means that all those have evolved to a point that there is a lot of overlap between how they operate these days. Overall these fields relate to everything we do these days. When we work we use technology to stay in contact with both employees and employers and our friends during the entire time. On the other hand in social setting we use technology to finish work fast so we can be with friends. And finally when using technology we depend on both work and friends to teach us how to use them. These are only 1 example of how each of these sections overlap. I feel that GBS is trying to use this overlap but is failing to overlap all 3 things. Instead there is overlap maybe between technology and work but no social connection, or there is another place were technology and social connection interact but it has little to do with work. The Dachis group feels that if you use social business then it becomes business as usual and you no longer have to really work a lot at it. It is like a symbiotic relationship and I feel that GBS has not achieved that potential, they still have to struggle and work at trying to be a social business.
