Chris,

While fooling around with the com.ibm.egl.rui.samples.ce > gallery.datadisplay > DataDisplayDemo.egl I noticed the Amount column wouldn’t sort correctly with the numbers I substituted.

The SortFunction in GridSorter.egl may need to identify the column's data type. In this case the Amount column’s data type is Int, but it is being processed as String . In the code below sortByName value is the column name, Amount.

GridSorter.egl . . .function SortFunction(a any in, b any in) returns (int) result int; if(a[sortByName] as String < b[sortByName] as String) result = 1; else result = -1; end if (sortingUp) result = -result; end return (result);end
