Cat No: 317-A, Type:UIMA Annotator
This annotator identifies different sections or zones of a document and allows you to assoicate the zone name with any annotation as a feature. This allows you to segregate your annotations into the sections or zones of the document they were found. By way of example this annotator specifically looks for company names and then adds as a feature where in which sections (zones) those company names were found. You will undoubtedly need to modify the rules of this annotator so as to find sections that are specific to your document types. Read the users guide located in the /doc directory of the pear file. The source for the character rules, parsing rules and dictionaries can be found in the /src directory. The /data directory contains sample documents that can be run with this annotator.
